"GROW" STUDY
A few years ago the Lay Servant Ministries team of the Susquehanna Conference created materials for a new laity class called “Grow” that is focused on helping people grow in faith and in spiritual leadership. Pastor Brian was one of the first people trained to lead this course and is inviting you to join him on this journey beginning in January 2027. It will take place the 1st and 3rd Thursday’s of the month at 6:00 pm via Zoom and will run for eight (8) sessions. There is no cost for the class itself, but participants will need to purchase three books. This course is open to anyone interested in developing their discipleship and participating in the growth of God’s kingdom. Please contact Pastor Brian for more details and to register. Class size will be limited to 15, but additional opportunities for the study will be available in the future if interest is shown.
Bethany UMC will have their church charge conference on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 11:30 am, held at St. Andrew’s UMC.
Once again, Bethany UMC will have a table set up outside (Office Porch) to hand out snacks/candy for Halloween YMCA toddler children in the morning for Halloween. Please bring in candy and/or snacks (Soft mini bars, mini cookies, animal crackers -No hard candy) to donate to this event.
Due date: Sunday, Oct 25, 2026. Can bring snack/candy into the Fellowship Hall or the office.
Also will need volunteers to pass candy out in the morning (9am – 12 pm). Friday, October 30, 2026.

Be an Angel to Milton Panther Pack Child: Angel Tree
This year we will be partnering up with St. Andrews by donating $10.00 Walmart Cards for the Milton School Panther Pack Children. You can purchase $10.00 Walmart Cards and/or give cash donation to St. Andrew’s for the cards. Also can take more than one Angel Tree Ornament to purchase or donate more than one $10.00 card. Angel Tree' ornaments will be on the table in the Fellowship Hall. Watch for tags in the Fellowship Hall.

Bethany is collecting food items for the Panther Pack/St Andrew’s at this Thanksgiving Time of the month. [Put items in the marked bin in the Fellowship Hall.]
Panther Packs requests the following single serve size items:
Tuna or Chicken (5 oz can or single serve pouch), Condensed Chicken Noodle Soup, Macaroni and Cheese (Single Serve), Box of Oatmeal (single serve pouches),
Applesauce (single serve cup or pouch), Fruit (single serve cup or pouch), Granola Bars, Fruit Snacks, Chef Boyardee (can or microwave) **Please make sure all items are within date.
